Eliza’s tree is a very special Christmas tradition in the Williams home.  Eliza was diagnosed with MLD in September of 2007.  Shortly after her diagnosis we started seeing Christmas everywhere.  Displays were ready in the stores and toy magazines started coming in the mail.  We had no idea what Eliza would enjoy as her body quickly declined.  We decided the gifts that Eliza could use were much different than the typical wishes from Santa Claus.  We began writing special letters to Eliza as our gifts.  These letters included special service projects in honor of Eliza.  There were so many gifts we could give!  And so the tradition began.
